Church of Jesus Christ: It's Time to Seek His Presence!

Church of Jesus Christ, this is a call to awaken our spirits and turn our eyes completely toward God. We live in times that remind us that our hope is not in the things of this world, but in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The Word of God exhorts us: “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6). We cannot allow the worries, distractions, riches, problems, or occupations of this life to draw us away from God’s presence. It is time to return to the altar, to return to prayer, to return to the Word, and to seek the Lord’s face once more.

The church needs to remember that our citizenship is in heaven and that we await our Savior, Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). Jesus promised that He would return, and although no one knows the day or the hour, His Church must remain prepared and watchful. He Himself said, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour” (Matthew 25:13). This is not about setting dates or living in fear; it is about living prepared, with our lamps burning and our hearts surrendered to God. The King is coming, and the Church must be awake.

Therefore, today we need to examine our hearts. Are we truly seeking God or only His blessings? Is prayer still a priority? Do we hunger for His Word? Do we still have a passion for His presence? The Bible says, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you” (James 4:8). God continues to call His people to draw near, to repent, to be sanctified, and to walk in obedience. We cannot expect external revival if we do not first allow God to transform our hearts from within.

Church, it is time to seek His presence more than ever. It is time to rise early to pray, to reclaim the family altar, to teach our children the Word of God, to forgive, to reconcile, to abandon that which separates us from the Lord, and to return to living an authentic faith. We don't just need to gather together; we need to encounter God. We don't just need to talk about revival; we need to become men and women who cry out for the presence of the Holy Spirit. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face… then I will hear from heaven” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

May the Church once again hunger for God. May our homes once again become places of prayer. May our temples once again be filled with true worship. May we stop chasing after what is fleeting and begin chasing after the presence of the One who remains forever. The world needs to see a Church that is awake, steadfast, holy, compassionate, and filled with the love of Christ. This is not a time for spiritual slumber; it is a time to watch, pray, and stand firm.

Brothers and sisters, the Lord is coming , and our response must be to prepare our hearts and remain faithful to the end. The final promise of Scripture reminds us of the hope we have: “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20). May we respond with a Church that says from the depths of its heart, “Yes, Lord Jesus, come; but while we await Your coming, help us to seek You, serve You, obey You, and proclaim Your Gospel.” This is the time to awaken. This is the time to return to His presence. Church of Jesus Christ: let us arise, seek the Lord, and remain prepared, for our hope is in Christ, and He is our eternal salvation. Amen.
